I'm very pleased with the ease of replacing battery packs, the price and the performance. I highly recommend this method of updating Roomba battery packs.

Better deal
Pretty simple,if you can solder a couple of wires. Works perfectly. Service was very fast.

Roomba 14.4 NiCD battery pack
Purchaser must be sure that the pack is compatible with their model IRobot vacuum.

Although this pack was advertised for "400 series" IRobot Vacuum cleaners, it was not compatible with my model, which uses NiMH,not NiCD battery pack.

Amazon Service took no responsibility other than refer me to Tenergy. I had to contact them, return and exchange at my expense.

Tool: You need a triangle screw driver to do so. Step 2: Open and remove the top cover from the power system, which may be glued. Tool: You may need a flat screw driver to open it carfuelly Step 3: Remove the old battery inside. Three are wires with metal contact connected inside. You can remove the wires by pulling up the contat or cut wires off. Take a note of the wire connections Step 4: Put new battery into the battery case and solder three wire back to metal contacts.
